Sephora Appoints New Chief Digital Officer

THE WHAT? Anca Marola has been named the new global chief digital officer at Sephora, starting February 12. She will report to Sephora’s CEO, Guillaume Motte, and is taking over from Marc Abergel.

THE DETAILS  Marola’s background includes leading business intelligence, client, and customer experience at LVMH. She has been involved in consolidating LVMH’s data strategy and implementing analytics and AI. Prior to LVMH, Marola worked at GFK in consulting and consumer research. She holds a master’s degree in marketing from HEC Paris and has completed an executive AI program at MIT.


THE WHY? Marola’s appointment at Sephora is aimed at enhancing the brand’s omnichannel customer experience, leveraging her experience in data strategy and digital innovation from her tenure at LVMH.
