GEKA receives fourth consecutive EcoVadis Platinum Sustainability Rating

Proving itself a frontrunner in creating positive impact on the planet and society in cosmetics, GEKA has been awarded its fourth consecutive Platinum Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis. This result places the high precision cosmetics application expert within the top 1% of assessed companies, demonstrating that ground-breaking beauty products needn’t cost the earth.

Oliver Vogel, CEO of GEKA, said: “This is a great result and illustrates our commitment towards the creation of a responsible cosmetics industry. Our improved performance this year, even with expanded criteria from EcoVadis, is evidence that our long-term sustainability strategy is working. It also shows our customers and users that our approach to beauty is more than skin deep, and that we’re committed to preserving our planet and supporting society too.”

Considered the most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, EcoVadi independently assessed GEKA GmbH across four categories, consolidating results to achieve a final rating. GEKA scored in the top 1% for the Environment, Ethics, and Labor & HumanRights categories, while landing in the top 3% for Sustainable Procurement. PRESS RELEASE

PCD Innovation Awards winners announced on the opening day of Paris Packaging Week

The PCD Innovation Awards set the tone of the opening day of Paris Packaging Week 2024, taking centre stage to champion and celebrate the most technically innovative and beautiful packs in perfume, cosmetics, personal care, hair care, and skincare.

Paris, 17/01/2023 – The opening day of Paris Packaging Week saw the winners of the prestigious PCD Innovation Awards, the world’s leading packaging innovation event for perfume, cosmetics and personal care, crowned.

In total, 15 awards and 10 certificates were handed out across the nine categories contested, with Jury President Bouixand the esteemed Jean Louis Mathiez, owner of innovative cosmetic packaging experts, Cinqpats, presiding over the ceremony on the Circular Economy Stage during the afternoon session on Day 1 of Paris Packaging Week.

Naïma Havard, Senior Packaging Development Project Manager at LVMH Frangrance Brands who won the certificate for ‘Flower By Kenzo Ikebana Eau de Parfum’ says “We’re so pleased and honoured to have received a certificate for this project, which was very difficult, as it integrates the innovation of a glass hood.
